ooo...baby! baby!

hello! can i just start by saying, "why didn't i think of blogging with my best and most creative friend before now?" i am so stinking excited to have katie here!

i know readers will {{love}} her as well. wait until you see what other fun goodies katie has in store.

look for a blog name change too...because it's not just LA anymore! {halleu-yer}

and on to crafts. and hopefully amanda is not peeking at this {ahem}. 

one of my favorite things to do is embellish onesies, so when i found out that my dear friend amanda was having a baby girl, i was uber excited. 

so yesterday i sat for hours making these lovelies.

{{helloo}} wrinkles.

my first attempt at booty ruffles...they took FOREVERR.

the material was from an old, see-through shirt. yippee for repurposing.

heres my 2nd and 3rd onesie. 

the first is a piece of lace hand sewn onto the neckline. 

the send has three ruffles that run diagonally down the baby belly. 

a little baby bud adorns the 3rd onesie.

the pictures get worse as it gets darker outside.

the newest installation has a [lopsided] pocket.

i think the lopsidedness adds to the charm... ;)

the last one is the most couture of all onesies...but i forgot to take a picture.

drat.
